Your website should be comfortably viewed. The content and other elements should be in scale to each other and not push past the right-hand side of the screen.
- This means elements should fit within the screen so that the visitor only has to scroll vertically.
- There is no excuse for horizontal scrolling; this is a huge detractor to visitors and typically drives them to other websites because it makes viewing your websites information clumsy requiring a lot more effort on the part of the visitor to view your content
